For those new to Hotspot Shield they have a free ad-supported version and a paid Elite version of the service. I’m not a big fan of ad-supported privacy services. To me they defeat the purpose of using a VPN. With that said HotSpot Shield is one of the best and their Elite version knocks out the ads and provides faster access. The discount on annual VPN access and $500 worth of gift cards is a very nice way to promote the service.
