VPN Unlimited Adds DNS Firewall

The KeepSolid team recently added a new feature to their popular VPN Unlimited service. Members now have access to the KeepSolid DNS Firewall. The new feature gives VPN subscribers the ability to enable different levels of firewall protection to meet their needs. This includes VPN encryption, anti-malware, website & tracker blocking, and ad blocking. You can enable different combinations of these features by setting the DNS Firewall protection level. This will help protect your online privacy and security while blocking unwanted content.

VPN Unlimited DNS Firewall

As you can see in the screenshot above, the VPN Unlimited client has a “Protection” tab that let’s you set the DNS Firewall to low, medium, or high. Here’s a more detailed explanation of each firewall level you can set.

  • None – Advanced VPN traffic encryption that defends from man-in-the-middle attacks. No blocks, all websites can be reached.
  • Low – Anti malware + VPN protection. Encrypts your web traffic and blocks malicious websites, which can harm your device.
  • Medium – Anti-malware + stop tracking + VPN protection. Blocks malicious websites, as well as web tracking systems’ domains. Advanced VPN traffic encryption is also included.
  • High – The most advanced level of online protection and privacy. Blocks all malicious websites, as well as domains of the web tracking systems and advertising networks.

In addition to setting the level of DNS firewall protection, you can add any website to their black list to block it or white list to ensure that it doesn’t get blocked.
