The bear is loose in Canada! It looks like the TunnelBear team is adding extra server locations for our friends up north. Their network now spans into Canada along with the United States and United Kingdom. We fired up the client on a Windows 8 machine and found that Canada was already available. If you have any issues make sure to download the latest version of their Windows / Mac client or iOS / Android VPN app.
Of course we had to test the speed of their new server location. After connecting to TunnelBear Canada we tested using SpeedTest.net and found our speed to be around 13 Mbps. Which is very fast for an encrypted connection to Canada. The performance fluctuated some but we could easily stream content.
