VPN4ALL CryptoBrowser Chrome Add-On

VPN4ALL recently announced a new service to help users encrypt and decrypt social networking chats & web-based email messages.  CryptoBrowser works as an add-on to Google’s Chrome web browser.  You can use the tool to encrypt and decrypt messages with just a few clicks.  You can purchase the add-on for $9.99 or sign up for VPN4ALL through this page on their site and receive a license to CryptoBrowser for free.

VPN4ALL CryptoBrowser

I think it’s safe to say that we’ll likely see more security add-ons from privacy services like VPN4ALL throughout the year.  Being able to encrypt your chat messages for social networks like Facebook is useful given their stance on using your information for the benefit of advertisers.  When it comes to email you can use CryptoBrowser to encrypt messages with over 1,000 services including Gmail, Yahoo, MSN and AOL.

CryptoBorwser runs as a Chrome add-on so you’ll need to use Chrome to encrypt and decrypt messages.  The process is pretty simple.  We’ll use email as an example.  You would start by typing your message.  Then set a password the recipient will use to decrypt the message.  From there CryptoBrowser will help you encrypt the text and paste it into the email.  The recipient can use CryptoBrowser and the password to decrypt the message.

You can read our VPN4ALL review to learn more about the company or visit their CryptoBrowser page to learn more about the new add-on.  Remember that VPN4ALL is currently offering new VPN members a free license to CryptoBrowser which saves you $9.99.  Otherwise you can also purchase the Chrome add-on separately.
